Hey Everyone -
Just a quick post to let you know that Harcourt has purchased my next Young Adult novel WHEREVER YOU GO and it will be on their Hardcover list for Fall 2011. I'm so thrilled to be working with my wonderful editor Julie again! The team at HMH has been very supportive of THE CLEARING, so I'm sure it will be another great experience.
Here's the official announcement:
Author of the soon to be released THE CLEARING, Heather Davis’s next YA novel, WHEREVER YOU GO, the heart-breaking story of the ghost of a boy trying to make contact with the girl he left behind, who discovers that the girl’s ailing, Alzheimer’s-stricken grandfather alone can hear him and act as his spirit guide, to Julie Tibbott at Harcourt, for hardcover publication in Fall 2011, by Stephen Barbara at Foundry Literary + Media. Hugs,
Heather

December Booksigning Event
Happy Holidays, Everyone!I hope your Winter season is a fun one, filled with lots of family and friends, and of course - great books to read. I've just turned in a new book proposal, which means I have down-time for the first time in months. That means I'll be celebrating the Holidays with friends and family and working on the promo for my book with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, The Clearing, which debuts in April! It's getting closer.
In the meantime, my debut YA novel, Never Cry Werewolf, is out and doing pretty well. If you'd like to get a signed copy, my next event is a party and signing with Pacific Northwest Writers' Association:
PNWA Holiday Party Location:
Winters House - 2101 Bellevue Way SE Bellevue, WA 98004
Date: Saturday, december 5, 2009
Time: 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
If you can't make it out to the PNWA signing - there are a bunch of signed copies of Never Cry Werewolf at the Lynnwood, WA - Barnes & Noble. And the booksellers there are soooo sweet!
Thank you very much for stopping by to see what's new. Hope you have very happy Holidays!
